Graduates earned the聽聽certificate, a block of 30 credit hours that transfers to all public Indiana four-year institutions, upon student acceptance. The Indiana College Core certificate is for students who intend to complete bachelor鈥檚 degrees while saving time and money on college costs. Ivy Tech also offers certificates that lead directly to careers.

聽鈥淚vy Tech offered classes at my high school that saved me a lot of time and money,鈥 said Taylor Whitfield, Bloomfield High School graduate. Whitfield earned her full Indiana College Core of 30 credits and plans to continue her education at Ivy Tech to pursue her associate of science in nursing degree.

Graduate Brett Horning, earned a career-ready certificate from Ivy Tech before he graduated high school. Horning earned his Emergency Medical Technician firefighter certification, which upon passing the state EMT exam, qualifies him to work in the field. In the future, he plans to go into law enforcement.
