MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
路 Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy聽and course objectives.
路 Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
路 Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.聽Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
路 Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and聽leads to a positive experience with 外网天堂, shows evidence of developing聽and implementing active classroom teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their聽learning (curricular).
路 Interacts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complies聽with College policies, campus guidelines and expectations.
路 Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs聽and all learning environments.

Compensation: $47.35/contract hour
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have strong working聽knowledge of current technologies appropriate to the area of instruction and meet faculty聽credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all聽activities with an appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:聽
A qualified adjunct faculty member, including Dual Credit, Workforce Alignment, and a full-time faculty teaching outside their discipline, meets the technical course standard through one of聽
four routes:聽
Meets the full-time faculty discipline standard; or聽Possesses a Department of Labor, Bureau for Apprenticeship Training recognized聽
journeyman鈥檚 card in the discipline directly related to credentials, certifications,聽and聽competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR), and in journeyman status聽for two years or more with experience that is specifically linked to the聽competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR)
聽And, possesses any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as聽indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR); or聽
Possesses any specialized certifications or credentials required for the class being聽taught as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR)聽
And, 5 years directly related work experience in the field that is specifically聽
Possesses a current Workplace Specialist License, Technology Education License聽(Technology and Engineering Education, Engineering and Technology聽Education), or CTE: Trade & Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing License聽granted by the Indiana Department of Education appropriate to course objectives聽and directly linked to credentials, certifications, and competencies listed in the聽Curriculum of Record (COR)聽
And, possesses any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as聽indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
AGRI 110 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Introduction to Agricultural Business and Economics聽possesses an earned master鈥檚 or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in聽Agricultural Economics, or Agriculture Education or a Master of Business Administration聽(MBA).
AGRI 111 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Crop Production possesses an earned master鈥檚 or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in Agronomy, or Agriculture聽Education.
AGRI 112 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Fundamentals of Horticulture possesses an earned master鈥檚聽or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in Horticulture, or Agriculture聽Education.
AGRI 113 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Animal Agriculture possesses an earned master鈥檚 or higher聽degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in Animal Science, or Agriculture Education.
AGRI 114 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Introduction to Agricultural Systems possesses an earned聽master鈥檚 or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in the fields of Agricultural聽and Biological Engineering, Agricultural Systems, Management, Agronomy, Animal Science or聽
Agricultural Economics, or Agriculture Education.
AGRI 209 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Agricultural Commodity Marketing meets the course聽standard through one of two routes:
Possesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in聽the fields of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Agriculture Education, Agricultural聽Economics, Agricultural Systems Management, Agronomy, Animal Science, Botany,聽Horticulture, Plant Science, or other agriculture-related discipline; or Possesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution and聽holds a Series 3 commodity futures broker license from NASD.
AGRI 210 Course Standard:
A qualified faculty member teaching Management Methods for Agricultural Business possesses聽an earned master鈥檚 or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution, in Agricultural聽Economics, or Agriculture Education, or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
